I live in the Pocono Mountains with a gravel driveway. 728 TDE is perfect for me. I believe in supporting my local dealer vs a large chain store. Lets support our local dealer and help keep him in business, after all who do we turn to for service? Its easy to find using the Find A Dealer tab on the Cub Cadet website. I had the dealer replace the skid shoes with metal ones and weld 1" wide skid shoes on them (he did this for no additonal cost). Between the transport mode and wide skid shoes this machine is wondderful, it does not pick up any gravel at all. It has plenty of power for a 28" blower. Our streets are 50' wide and this blower easily throws the snow plowed in front of my driveway completely across the street (into the woods). The additional cost for a track drive blower is well worth the money if you have either a gravel or steep driveway. The power steering is a great feature making this snowblower so easy to handle. The one hand shute control is great too and allows you to control the distance the snow is thrown as well. The 277cc engine provides more than enough power to handle even the wettest snow which is a concern for me as often we get a lot of sleet and wet snow mixed in. I couldn't be happier with my Cub Cadet 728.
