Review 1 for LGT 1050 Lawn Tractor

Yard Size: 1 to 3 acres
I've only had the 1050 for 3 months, but I like how it operates and produces a good quality cut on my 1.25 acre lawn. My only issue is the front tires are wearing out very quickly. Much of my turning is done on pavement as I run off the grass to turn so I'm sure the friction of the pavement adds to the wear. However, the camber of the wheels leans inward slightly which I thinks adds to the wearing as well. Replacing the front tires after 35 hours is unexpected. I had a Husky for 350 hrs and never replaced a tire.
I am on my 4th season using the SLTX 1050 (comparable to this LGT 1050 model) and everything is still running great. I've owned John Deere models before, the ones you would find at the box stores and they were ok...but this mower is better. Seat does not rip, paint is perfect, no cracks in the hood. I can't complain. Only had to replace the battery so far and a couple of bolts that vibrated out of the seat bracket. Just make sure you put winterizing chemical in the gas tank for the winter....I had to have the carburetor cleaned because I didn't do that. Today's ethanol gas separates easy, settles to the bottom, and its hard on small engine motors. Glad I discovered the quality of Cub Cadet. I will purchase another one in the future someday.
