After putting 28 hours on the mower it only gets better and better. we just greased all the zerks and man does it improve the steering performance. It does have a problem performing a zero turn in reverse, however that is getting better with each use, felt like the hydraulics needed to bleed some air out. we did install a steering wheel spinner knob so that I can turn faster using only one hand and I would recomend that to any owner whether or not they have two working hands.

I just bought my 1st Cub Cadet since the 70's. I was using John Deere, they are getting very expensive for what you get. This Cub has cut my mow time down love the zero turn. My only concerns are I wish that it had a fuel guage and that you offered a deisel engine.

I bought my Z-Force S60 in the spring knowing that I needed a bagger by fall. I still don't think a bagger is available? Or is it ?
Information I have seen leads me to believe that it was supposed to come out in the spring of 2010.
The mower is great...I just don't want to rake leaves anymore.

I was skeptical about this mower when I bought it because of the wheel instead of sticks. That is the only thing that I am really impressed with after using the mower for 50 hours of use. It seems like a heavy duty machine by appearance but it lacks in delivery.
Cons:
1) The engine bogs even in moderate grass so much so that it feels more like an 18 hp than a 25.
2) The blades are not all that great and I am soon replacing them with better after market ones. I had to have them resurfaced after only 15 hrs and have hit no rocks or other debris.
3) The front spindle assemblies have a tremendous amount of play in them and there is not adjustment to tighten them. This play has caused a serious rattle while mowing and seems to be getting worse every time I mow.
4) The dust caps on the front spindles are almost an afterthought. They do not stay on well and I have already had to replace them because they would not stay on.
5) Forget about turning in reverse. Once the tractor is warmed up unless you are barely turning or at full lock the tractor will not move. Even on wet terrain neither tire will spin and I have had it back to the dealer twice to have it "purged" which they showed me how to do and it helps but it needs to be done nearly every time I mow.
6) Had to have a new ignition switch put in at 25 hours because the original one failed.
7) Tires are not holding up well and go flat on a regular basis.
8) Steering has a lot of tension unless you are moving which makes it difficult to navigate in tight areas. It's not a real problem for me but my wife has a hard time and leaves the tight areas for me to mow.
Pros:
1) Tilt steering is easy to use and makes the drive more comfortable than if it were in a fixed position.
2) Easy front to back seat adjustment
3) The syncro-steer makes it easier to mow slopes and mow straight when compared to many stick steer models
4) Fabricated deck seems to be holding up great
5) Plenty of easily accessible grease fittings.
6) Factory installed hitch included. I have found out that these are normally installed at the factory but need to be flipped so the hitch faces out. If you have one of these and no hitch, take a look under the back and it is probably there and just needs turned out.
I have a great dealer close by and they are great when it comes to resolving problems. I really wanted a Tank but they were just a little out of my price range. I attended an open house sale they were having and a Cub rep was there and we discussed my needs. He assured me that this mower was the way to go. I put my trust in him and bought the mower along with 2 other Cubs, a wide area 33" and a 20" self propelled that day. I got a great deal on the package but I cannot say that I am a satisfied customer. If I could take this mower back I would. Especially now since Cub has dropped the price on the Tank series.
